BSCI – Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks

Course objectives
The course teaches skills and knowledge needed to build and maintain large router networks. Hands-on exercises in the AnyWeb|Osys Training Lab will deepen the acquired theoretical knowledge. Further objectives are theoretical explanation and practical training of connecting a network to Internet Service Provider (ISP) and presenting optimization solutions of routing protocols in the exchange among themselves. After a basic training like ICND this course deepens know how in the routing area.

Participants
Network administrators and technicians configuring and maintaining IP networks. The course is part of the recommended Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) and Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional (CCIP) tracks.

Prerequisites
Students have previously visited ICND or show a CCNA certification. Six months of experience in configuring Cisco routers and familiarity with IOS and the IOS Interface respectively. These prerequisites can be acquired by self study, course attendance or practical work experience
